If you took the time to read what my blog was about you would have understood what i was talking about and from what point of view i was addressing the subjiect. Those charges you are talking about are when people are Irish citizens and some of them apply even for people like me that are not. I am As a student you go as a private patient even to the GP so you Do pay for everything, I haven’t had a single consultation in a GP on revisit for free. If you want things free there is a waiting list but usually you have to wait at least one year, which I am doing for an operation. You can get by without health insurance, but if you do get very sick it’s good to have one.
